Had a good sail today, not many about John,The Windy world shop boys, Ray who i havnt seen for ages & a couple more, was ok on the the 5.0 90% of the time with the odd lull going through so the odd bit of wallowing . Decided to try some more backies today,. although the opposite tack to last time at overcombe that didnt worry me as i dont get this \'i cant jump on that tack thing\', must have gone for 20+ with a couple getting some serious height off of over head high peaking waves, to my surprise i almost landed one, but the smile factor i get from this is immense even though many are just big bailouts they feel great, stoke factor through the roof.
All that stoke soon went though when i got my van stuck in the sand & spent a good hour trying to dig it out & a big thanks to Ray for trying to tow me out, in the end had to call out the Ranger in his 4x4
